We don't manage advertising campaigns, but do we work closely with your ad companies. Famous Brains maintains advertising certifications/accounts with companies like Google & Facebook, but we do NOT manage advertising campaigns for our website clients. We do work closely with any company that our clients select for various ad campaigns (Radio, Digital Advertising, Newspapers, etc) to provide exceptional purpose-built landing pages for your various campaigns. We can provide A/B testing services (included with any Famous Brains monthly plan) and work closely with your ad company (or you) to provide the data you need to analyze your ad campaigns. We also can build specialized sales funnels for your campaigns. A number of our successful customers do not do any advertising beyond having a website and periodically creating blog posts. Keep in mind that any products and services you sell with your Famous Brains website (plus all blog posts) are automatically inserted into all of the popular search engines because of the SEO services we include with your website plan.

Adding blog posts and articles to your site is about as easy as building a Word document. Famous Brains does not create your actual articles and posts. We do partner with several stellar copywriters whom we can confidently recommend. If you have existing blog posts on a site we’re migrating, we will help you get them moved over.

Our data center is in Utah and we have co-located sites in New York, San Fransico, London, Toronto, and Frankfurt. We position client servers in their nearest data center. We service customers in the United States, Canada, and the UK.

Absolutely. We back up every website every single day. That includes the database and all pages, styling, and blog posts/new articles/press releases, etc.

We use the best security available. Plus we add some security layers we wrote ourselves. We use multiple layers of security on every website. In addition to our own custom measures, we maintain subscriptions with dedicated security companies and subscribe to their security systems. Despite our stringent bank-grade security measures, we know that every website eventually comes under scrutiny by hackers. We will notify you if we ever detect a hacking attempt and explain what we’re doing to thwart the hackers.

We require clients to keep a credit card (or debit card) on file and accept automatic monthly billing. By having every client on automatic billing, our staff is free to focus on building & maintaining websites rather than chasing down forgotten payments. We use Intuit’s Quickbooks for nearly all charges and you will receive an emailed receipt each time an automated monthly charge occurs.

We will be your Tier 2 domain registrar. If you already own your domain, we’ll work with your current hosting or registrar company to migrate the domain to Famous Brains. Your annual domain fees are (of course) included in your monthly service fee. We do not charge to migrate out domains that you want to be moved. If you have not secured your domain name yet, we recommend that you allow us to buy it for you. It will help us get your website up and running much faster.

Our monthly service plans cover all internal website expenses for your primary domain name. The majority of our customers never pay more than the Website Plan prices we show here on our website. An additional expense would be if you want your website connected to a 3rd Party that charges fees (often called API fees or subscriptions). In most cases, we’ll pay those API fees and then pass them along on your monthly invoice.

You better believe it! SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Yes! We professionally manage all SEO functions of your website. This includes generating specialized hidden files that all search engines (including Google) will utilize to thoroughly catalog your website, products, services, FAQs, and videos. If you are a traditional “local business” that depends on your local community for business, we will do extra work to make sure your website is optimized for the Local SEO services of all popular search engines. We also make sure your website is SEO-optimized for major social media platforms and integrate your Social Media accounts to help drive traffic to your website.

There is a non-contractual enrollment form which is more of a 'release'. And then a standard credit card agreement. We do not force customers to have a binding contract with us. We believe that if we work hard to make our customers happy, they’ll stay with us. There are only a couple of things we need to be signed: 1. When you sign up, we’ll ask you to digitally sign our **_Enrollment Form_** which includes some liability waivers and credit card billing authorization. 2. When your site is ready to launch publicly, a simple **_Website Sign-Off_** form that says you’re ready for the world to see the site we’ve built for you. If we are migrating your domain name from another provider, we may need you to sign a document to give us authorization to act on your behalf. Periodically, as various governing bodies around the world alter their policies regarding internet websites & transactions, we might need you to sign updated releases.
